Brief info

Clare Opiyo is a Governance and Partnerships Manager with broad Administrative and Operational experience working with all Association levels creating, promoting, and delivering successful support mechanisms to volunteers, staff, partners and adult members to effectively contribute to the Association’s strategic plan. Clare believes in creating diplomatic and effective communication and member friendly governance environment for a thriving association to support and enable girls and young women achieve their fullest potential.

Clare is passionate about creating an effective, interactive, streamlined, seamless and fully compliant governance and staff structure by ensuring effective and relevant policies are in place and developing collaboration within the Association and with partners. She has provided Board support to the Kenya Girl Guides Executive Committee, National Council and Association Committees and Task Groups. Clare has actively participated in the update and development of the Associations SOPs and Policies.

Prior to this role, Clare served as Volunteer Services Manager at the Association delivering support to the volunteer arm of the Association. Clare’s strengths include leadership, communication and logistical support.

Clare holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Management from Daystar University.
