Joyce Kariuki is a qualified professional with over ten years’ experience in Programme design and Management. She has a wealth of experience in resource mobilization and resource management, new partnership developments, grants management, stake holders’ engagement, budgeting and budget controls, monitoring and Evaluation. She offers team leadership and personnel management to the coordinators implementing the Girl Guide programme and trainings Nationally.
Joyce plays a key role in ensuring the organization delivers high quality non-formal capacity building programs that provide the girls and young women with dynamic, flexible and value-based training in life skills for self and personal development to achieve the fullest potential and be the best they can be.
Recruitment and training play a significant role in the Association’s strategic plan and the Programme Manager supports and ensures that the recruited girls, young women and adults are developed through the girl guiding training and leadership programs to be able to achieve and realize their fullest potential.

Besides guiding, Joyce has a great interest and passion in the area of mental health and has recently graduated with a higher diploma in psychological counselling.
Joyce holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree from Moi University and Masters Degree is Business Administration from Kenyatta University.
